RELEASE DATE: 03-07-2011 - The 12th SNGWRTR compilaton, this latest release from John Tolley and the SNGWRTR BAND seems to reflect the increasingly conflicted perspective on issues that seemed somehow far simpler in younger days. The songs in this collection speak of conflict, whether spiritual, relational, or internal. In the end result, SNGWRTR seems to be offering an olive branch in hopes that a peaceful resolution is possible for us all.
The album features "A Life Of Rhyme", "Alimony", and "The First Stone", songs which are both familiar and yet somehow new in the annals of the band's recordings.
FUN FACT: "My Friend" is written for and dedicated to Hamlet - greatest cat ever!
